A personal touch. . .

Jasper and I didn't feel like having a lazy saturday with nothing to do. A week or so ago I mentioned that we should make a painting to put on the wall in our dining room. The room is quite blank and needs some character. Much to my surprise Jasper was more then enthusiastic about it! So, today when I asked, "What sould we do today" he suggested the paitings! Once we got ready for the day we headed to town for some supplies. In spite of the rainy weather we toughed it out and transported the goods dry and safely home.

Actually a rainy day turned out a great time to paint. I set my ipod to Jazz and Blues and away we went! Here is what I ended up creating. I believe I am finished with it, but we will see if I feel the need to add more once it dries a bit.

Our goal was to do something inspired by what interests us. Somewhere under there are music notes, plants, the blury view of a camera, reading and a rainy day! haha What do you see? Here it is sideways...

Just so you know the colors look a little different on here. The dots that look orange are actually a redish pink. Now, Jasper has a pretty awesome start to his, but he isn't finished yet.

 You will all have to wait and I will take pictures of the finished product on the wall. I am not extremely artistic, but I must say that Jasper has talent that far exceeds mine!
